The Rise, Top 5 films by the Telugu filmmaker

Happy Birthday Sukumar: Before getting into the cinema, Sukumar Bandreddi worked as a math and physics teacher at a college in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. And it is perhaps for this reason that his films are perfectly adapted to the mathematical and scientific choices of the public. Sukumar began his film career as a writer and assistant to filmmaker VV Vinayak. During this time, he started working on the screenplay for his first film Arya and told the story to producer Dil Raju.

The idea struck a chord with Raju and he gave the project his green signal. The film received excellent public reception and paved the way for Sukumar’s rise to stardom. Over the past 18 years, Sukumar has spearheaded several successful projects and established a prominent place in the Telugu film industry.

Sukumar’s debut film, Arya, was a box office hit. The plot revolved around the love story between Arya, played by Allu Arjun and Geethanjali experienced by Anuradha Mehta on screen. The film not only established Sukumar in the Telugu film industry, but also marked the emergence of Allu Arjun into the superstar he is today.

Considered one of the best films of Ram Charan’s career, Rangasthalam tells the story of Chittibabu (Ram Charan), a partially deaf and angry inhabitant of a village called Rangasthalam. The film was a big box office hit and whether it was the dialogue or the songs, everything about Rangasthalam was loved by the masses.

Sukumar is used to working with the biggest stars in the Telugu film industry and delivering success with all of them. His collaboration with actor Mahesh Babu was no different.
