The next expansion of the PlayStation Plus service includes many genre titles


After teasing fans with their own take on Xbox Game Pass, Sony has unveiled the first titles as part of their upcoming PlayStation Plus subscription service. The list includes several classics for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe members, including several genre titles.

To start, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe Horror Fans subscribers have access to the following PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles:

  • Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut | Sucker Punch, PS4/PS5
  • God of the war | Santa Monica Studio, PS4
  • MediEvil | Other Ocean, PS4
  • Return | Homebrand, PS5
  • The Last of Us Remastered | Naughty Dog, PS4
  • The Last of Us: Left Behind | Naughty Dog, PS4
  • Until dawn | Supermassive Games, PS4
  • Control: Ultimate Edition | 505 games, PS4/PS5
  • dead cells | Motion Twin, PS4
  • hollow knight | Team Cherry, PS4

PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe members will also have access to classic titles. Some classics will have improved frame rates/resolutions. Select PSP/PS1 will also have a new UI for save states and rewind functionality. Players who own some digital PSP/PS1 games can access those that don’t need PS+. Among the first titles available to fans of the genre

As for PS3 titles, they will also be available for PlayStation Plus Premium users, although they will only be streamed.

PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe plan owners will also be able to enjoy time-limited demos. After downloading a trial version of the full game, you can play it for two hours for most games – the game time counter only counts while you’re in the game.

As before with the previous PlayStation Plus service, new games will be redeemed every month. The revamped service is first launched in Asia on May 24followed by Japan on June 2North and South America on June 13and finally Europe, Australia and New Zealand on June 23.
