So what is a comedy movie? More importantly, it has to be really written to be funny. This means that some Theron movies have comedic elements, like the excellent comedy-drama tuly, which are of a more serious nature, are not really retained. The same goes for memorable movies like 2 days in the valley, which is more of a thriller. You can have serious subject matter presented in a silly way, but too often movies these days are marketed as dark comedies, even if there’s little on-screen comedy when you watch them. For this reason, these films will not be the focus here. Instead, it’s other real comedies Theron was in, often in a starring role. Here are Charlize Theron’s best comedy movies.

Assuming this won’t be an obstacle she can’t overcome, Mavis returns to her hometown of Mercury, Minnesota to put her plan in place.
